Emergency Services

The emergency services at Roadrunner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to care for pets experiencing urgent or life-threatening conditions.

When you arrive, our trained medical team will promptly assess your pet and determine the severity of their condition. Pets with the most critical needs are treated first, which means that if your pet is stable, there may be a wait while our doctors focus on patients requiring immediate, life-saving care. Wait times may also vary depending on the diagnostics and treatments recommended for your pet. Our team will keep you informed throughout the process and is always available to answer questions.

We will communicate what to expect during your pet’s evaluation and discuss any recommended diagnostics or treatments along the way.

Wait times may vary and are based on both arrival time and medical urgency. Pets with critical or life-threatening conditions are treated first, which may result in stable patients being seen later.
